Let's see what they have done this time.....
Looks Like the Updated Android App is Out....v.3.1.21
My initial observations are that:
1) It is now finding my inverters much more easily than before (on 'Home').
2) But I am not getting 10s updates on the 'Home' view - it just shows the same values as 'Away'.
Update: I am sometimes getting 10s updates, but the 'Last Updated' time does not get updated, at the same time.
3) The Quick Settings Button is still appearing randomly, even though I did not activate it in the Preferences.
Also
4) Numbers on the Dashboard graphic do not always add up, as they should.
5) The battery voltage is still being shown as an integer value, instead of to 2 decimal places (as we had before).
6) When you switch from Home to Away, the numeric values on the powerflow diagram do not get updated to the latest Away value. Instead they stay the same as whatever was last displayed on Away.
If GE can't afford to pay good software testers, perhaps they should ask their 'Beta Testers' on the Play Store, or ask some of their more experienced Community members to do testing for them? I really want to like GivEnergy as a company, but they seem to go out of their way to annoy the hugely valuable resource which they have at their disposal (i.e. their own customers), rather than embracing them.
