I've been waiting for the long promised GE EV charger (now a couple of weeks away my installer tells me).
But my confidence in GE has gone (a dead battery and no firm promise to fix it).
What other chargers have people used that have some sort of useful integration with my panels and batteries (assuming GE ever come to fix it)?

Problem is that if you have a hybrid inverter the CT clamps won't be able to differentiate between solar and battery and I don't know of any chargers offering any type of API integration.
You can set an export margin on the MyEnergi chargers to get around this, but it's a bit janky in my experience. I'll be swapping out mine for a GivEnergy charger once they become available.

I have an Andersen A2. Lovely looking charger, no draped cables on show. A CT clamp can be fitted and the EVSE set to only use exported excess PV generation, which works well in the summertime.
Shame they went bust though! At least there looks to be a future now with the EVIOS purchase
I have a Zappi 2, but AC inverter so it will integrate correctly and can see the battery. Should be working fine once my installer gets around to putting in the remaining myenergi hardware
pelowj but it's a bit janky in my experience.
My experience is that the Zappi works fine when set to ECO+ and 100% Minimum Green Level. We charged our EV solely from PV between April and the end of October (admittedly, it's home most days). Only now that we are also topping up the Givenergy batteries off-peak have we had to also charge the EV overnight.
If the Givenergy charger had been available at the same time as we needed the EV charger, we may well have plumped for it but we don't have any regrets about buying the Zappi, it's a good product and well supported.
I have an 'EO Mini Pro 2'. Small and has solar excess functionality that I used extensively this summer. I tell it to charge on Octo Go and it does as its told. Reliable, would recommend.
Tim It's fine... but I just feel like relying on a CT clamp and an export margin is fundamentally a tacked on hack and that having a charger directly controlled by the inverter is far preferable. I feel (based on no evidence or information at all 😂) that it should be far quicker to react to fluctuations in generation, house load, etc. Time will tell!
I've had my Zappi in since 2018 and my parents are on the lookout for a cheap second hand charger for when us adult kids come to visit, so I've got a fairly handy way to upgrade without throwing away money.
