New to the system... sorry if this is an obvious question
Why does the system decide to export energy to the grid each day, over charging the battery, even when the battery is not fully charged? Every day we appear to be exporting 0.4-0.5kwh
We are on eco setting on the system

There's always going to be some transient importing and exporting as the system cannot react instantaneously to conditions. Also, the app and more so the portal are not in real-time. Rather they are snapshots.
Don't fret it....it's working as designed. Look at trends rather than individual snapshots in time.
Mines constantly exporting about 30% to grid even when battery is low
