Charging Rate and battery Life

I have had solar panels for 11 years. had a 9.5kwh battery installed 2 months ago. I am on economy 7 octopus tarrif, so have cheap rate available from 12:30 am to 7:30 am. I am charging my battery up during the night on a daily basis until we get into summer. would having a long charge time, say 6 hours charging at 1700 w help to extend battery life, compared to charging at 3kw.

Makes no difference. 9.5kwh has unlimited cycle warranty.
The battery will charge at whatever rate it can, within its limitations.
At then end of the day its "Calendar Days" not cycles or charging rates that will eventually affect the battery.
