My battery is in an outside cupboard and so far the temp of the battery has been ok. What I'm wondering is if the temps dip to way below zero and my battery temp goes below freezing what happens if we have a very bright day the next day. What I'm asking is the software smart enough to know that if the battery is too cold not to charge it as I understand that would damage it? And ditto if I wanted to top the battery overnight from a cheap rate the same question would arise?
