Can someone explain to me what "BMS Overvoltage" means - saw it on the "notifications" page yesterday. I noticed that charging was immediately stopped and the % jumped form 95% to 100%, I'm guessing one more cells went over a threshold of some sort?

From what I have read, this is simply the system realising that the battery is full. The jump up from 95% to 100% is probably related to the ongoing SOC issue, which (we all hope) will get resolved with a new software update, which is due soon.

It may also be worth reading some of the historic posts about 'BMW Overvoltage' on the two FB Groups, as there may be some issues related to specific BMW versions, and some installation issues.

It might also mean that there is a loose connection in the DC isloator, a very common issue and worth checking, as left unsorted it will generate heat and destroy the isolator.
