I have 3 arrays on my roof and in the Solcast software I can only have 2 directions per site. In the GivEnergy dashboard I can only have one site (resource id) linked.
It would be cool if we were able to link multiple sites in Solcast in the GivEnergy dashboard so it can display a total forecast vs production.
Thank you

My Solcast widget on the portal seems to have reset itself and it says:
“ The Solcast API can be used to predict future solar generation and view expected historical solar generation. Click the image above to be taken to the Solcast website where you can create an account (or login if you have one). Once your account is created, create your first rooftop site and enter its resource ID (you can add up to 3 resource IDs for a single site), along with your API key, into the boxes below”
I have 2 arrays and have been able to add both to a free Solcast account, not sure if you can add 3 or if that required a paid account. Strangely having worked for months the portal widget doesn’t seem to be accepting my details tonight, will try again tomorrow

Carlosfdasilva84 you might want to add it as a feature request from your portal

Carlosfdasilva84 You have a couple of options:

  • Scale the size of the two arrays you have to reflect the extra generation from the third (it's only a forecast after all)

  • Pay for the Solcast service you'd like.

Feature requests shouldn't bypass constraints on free accounts or companies such as Solcast will
stop offering free services to everyone's detriment.

How do you get back to the GivEnergy settings page for the Solcast account to add a new array?

Clive_Sherborne think you have to delete the card from the web portal. Then re-add the details (e.g. solcast resource ID etc).

Think you have to combine the arrays at solcast, you can't add more than one to GE.

TX200 You should be able to add two, I have this due to my east/west split

Cdent from memory, I thought you had to combine the roof entities into a site, but maybe I’m wrong.

TX200 I think GE changed it, I remember there being an option to add a second site (and possibly a third?). But I have integrated it into HA now which works better for me
