Timed Charge twice a day for Octopus Cosy?

Hopefully I will be on Octopus Cosy soon, having some compatibility issues switching, it would be good to be able to set the battery to charge during both cheap periods. This doesn't seem possible in the settings as it only allows one time period interval, am I missing something?

TRBob no there is only one charging period in the settings. To use two, you'd either have to do a manual charge during the second period or use something like home assistant to automate the second charge

TRBob see previous threads, it's not currently supported directly by the GE software. If you're into software, I have written some Python code to automate the second charge and some other bits. It's easier to install than a full-up Home Assistant, location is: Www.github.com/salewis38/palm

Cdent Thanks, yes Gareth responded when I asked him in an email about something else, it's something that they plan to implement in the future. As you said, charge the morning period in the Cloud settings and then do a manual charge in the app for the afternoon.

TRBob the good news is that the heavy lifting is already done, you just need to install Python and update the settings file with your details to get it running.
