Just spotted this on the Giv energy products page, and wondered what the difference is from Gen 1 to Gen 2.
Going from the Gen 2 data sheets from GivEnergy https://www.givenergy.co.uk/pdfs/products/datasheets/giv-bat-9-5.pdf
and Midsummer for Gen 1 https://midsummerwholesale.co.uk/pdfs/giv-bat-9-5-datasheet-v1.pdf
Looks like:
Same capacity (186 Ah / 9.5kWh) , current (80A) etc.
Gen 2 is a bit deeper (242mm vs 223mm)
Gen 2 has wider voltage range stated 45V - 58V vs 46.4V - 57.6V
Different temperature ranges:
Gen 1 Splits out Charging Temp as 0C - 50C and Discharging Temp -10C - 50C
Gen 2 just states Operating Temperature -10°C - 55°C
Just thought it was interesting - I'm having two 9.5s installed later this week and wondered which version they will be, though probably Gen 1 as they were ordered a fair few months ago now!
