Morning,
I have a battery system fitted recently which has a 5.2 capacity. When fully charge at 100% the give energy app shows 3.71KWH. Is normal as I expected the full charge to be at least 5KW.

Yes, to protect the battery it doesn’t get in to the lowest or highest parts under normal circumstances, there is a buffer.

I might get corrected on this but,
1 the 5.2 battery limits you to 80 DOD so 4.16kw max
2 the system keeps 4% as a reserve
So max usable is just under 4kw. Then the temperture affects it, conversion from AC to DC losses. 3.7kw sounds right.
