House drawing grid power through the night despite battery over 20% amounting to 1.8kW. Any ideas?
Battery
Something has set the reserve to over 20%??
Have a look at 'My Inverter' > Settings
Is ECO the only one enabled? or is one of the others set?
Was anything changed yesterday?
A picture of your Power Graph may help.
Check that you have no reserve set. Also try an inverter software re-start.
Eco mode on
Battery reserve & limit 4%
Battery discharge power 2600w
Battery cutoff limit 4%
Battery charge power 2600 w

Are you charging from the grid overnight? If so, the grid will power your house during this whole time period, even after the battery has hit the % target that you have set. This is generally considered more efficient, as you do not have the losses as the energy goes into, and then back out of, your battery.
I am working solely off solar without any import for charging. On a battery with over 4%, I expect not to use any grid power unless the total load goes over 2.6kW. From midnight to 9am I shouldn't have used the grid at all.
I have similar issue. Despite battery being 70% the house is taking power from the grid.
Reset the inverter to defaults from the web portal.
Make sure eco mode is on.
Turn on timed charge if you need that (grid charge).
Don't turn on timed discharge or timed export unless you really need that and are happy to use some automation or remember to turn eco back on at the end of the timed discharge/timed export period. (Read the many posts re timed discharge for more info on that).
Check the DC breaker hasn't tripped.
If it still doesn't work, maybe a call to your installer.
Hi,
Reset inverter to default, no breaker issue. I did try and switch the main safety switch for 30 seconds too.
No change, battery 79%, home consuming from the grid 🙁
Is there a software issue?
