Anyone using an Octopus Home Mini?

Wondering if its update frequency is good away from home, and what it might tell you about solar import/export? Anyone got one?

I applied for one months ago, but so far no sign of it

I ordered one about three months ago and was notified yesterday that its in the post.

Looks like they update every 10 secs and show electricity import and export, so almost live. Doesn't provide data from gas meter though.

I've got one and I think it could be useful if you didn't have any other way to monitor your usage. I can now see live usage via, GE system, myenergi zappi and Octopus Home Mini.

As the home mini (my understanding anyway) is taking the usage directly from the smart meter rather than from CT clamps it's the most accurate. The updates work just the same when you are away from home as it's viewing the data via the Octopus servers. My only issue is that the current usage shows when you open the app but then only updates every 60 seconds unless you manually refresh the page in which case it updates pretty much as fast as you can refresh. You also can see live(ish) gas usage which updates every 30 minutes (this has just been added). All the data from the mini is available in home assistant now too which gives me even more data to obsess over.
