Returning from a weeks holiday I found that the battery had reached 100% but then tripped into idle. There have been a couple of attempts by the GiveEnergy team to sort this out, no success so far. Has anyone else had this problem?

Battery remaining in idle
Do you mean that the battery had tripped and had to be reset by pushing the little black button on the top right-hand corner?
Thanks for replying hall, I was probably using ‘tripped’ incorrectly to describe how it had entered and remained in idle. I wasn’t aware of the reset button. I’m waiting for more assistance from the Giveenergy team. In the meantime I’ll go back to the manual and scour that! Have you had this problem and did the reset button cure it?
If you look at the inverter tab in the Portal, is it showing the inverter status as 'Waiting'? If so, they can sometimes fall asleep in this state.
If you have a gen 2 hybrid inverter I believe there is a known issue, which stops it from discharging until the SOC drops to below 96% (you could try a short discharge to get down to that SOC).
For other inverters, I usually find that a restart of the inverter software usually wakes it up, or a brief (10s) 'Pause' and then 'Play' in the App. Or just a 10s forced discharge.
