I'm messing around with the GivEnergy API and have seen both "Battery Cutoff % Limit" vs "Battery Reserve % Limit" in my list of available settings.
What is the functional difference between these two limits?

Battery cut off will be removed in future firmware releases. Not really sure why it was customisable.
Battery reserve is to keep some battery back for emergencies (power cuts) if the EPS is wired & configured.
I've just started investigating this too. Battery cutoff and limit set to 4%, which I assumed to be minimum SOC. (5.2 battery, with 5kw gen 3 hybrid.)
Last night, the battery dipped to 3%, and then started charging albeit only 250w until SOC was 6%. It then held 6% until my timed charge at 2am.
I've just looked at pausing battery charge within the remote control functions, after 18.30 (no chance of excess solar now) until 02.00, to see if this will prevent the unnecessary charging before cheap rate kicks in.
