Dongle wifi keeps dropping out

My connection to the givenergy server keeps dropping out. When I go to reset the dongle via the dongle wifi, it keeps dropping out and just isn't stable, even with my laptop next to the dongle and inverter. Any suggestions or do I have a faulty dongle?

I suspect the dongle connects to your wifi and then your laptop connects to the wifi, so it makes no difference how close the dongle/laptop are.
