With a business head on, I charge my battery for 5.5ppkwh and sell excess for 4.1ppkwh.
Agile export is currently much higher (all week) than the import costs.
On a terrible solar day like today i will still have upto 70% charge just sitting in the battery.
On an environmental perspective I would love to release the battery charge during peak CO2 demands and refill it during lower CO2 demand times.
Is it something we should push for? There would have to be some extra money paid to exporters to cover the capital depreciation etc. Even keeping the SEG would be much less than Octopus selling electric they pay 50p for at 35p
