Inverter Data Timestamps Irregular

I have tried to find something on here to avoid starting another thread, but I haven't succeeded.
My GE 3 Hybrid 3.6 inverter data is supposed to be at 5 minute intervals, but in my case it is almost always at 5:07 minute intervals. Unfortunately, the "almost" means that most days I get fewer than 24*12 = 288 data-points, but some days I get over 300. On August 2 I got 316, some at one-minute intervals. This is bizarre and makes processing the data awkward and inelegant.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there a neat, efficient, elegant workaround if so?

There's a bug in the latest app so when you are connected in local it spams the portal at the same update rate of about 10 seconds. This may be why your seeing a few days with extra data points.

Rumour is the portal will move to 1 min updates anyway in the future (I think installers can actually set that now but I've not checked)
Presumably this also helps GE with their server side EMS / Balancer being trialed to tame Plant setups from cross charging each other.
