Had a very unusual situation last night when grid power was OK but the internet went down for four hours. This set me wondering if the schedule for inverter operations is held locally or on the cloud? As it happened there were no timed events scheduled during the period the internet was down and it looks as though the inverter just carried on in ECO mode as if nothing had happened. I do not know if a timed event would have been affected by not being able to access the internet for either instructions or clock time.
A second question that comes to mind is; can a customer control the inverter locally during internet outages and make changes to modes, schedule times, charge reserves, charge limits etc.?
