Battery not discharging or charging during off peak

I'm trying to make use of the ability to top up the battery during the off peak octopus EV period. System is set in Eco mode, timed charge set to 60%, no timed discharge set ie dynamic. I've tried lots of combinations and setting things through the app, the web interface and the inverter settings page . All it does is during the off peak hours the battery just sits at whatever charge it has and the house is powered from the grid, then the battery to takes over. I've just installed the new firmware thinking that might fix it but it hasn't. I don't have any smart tariff set up either.

Any suggestions or is it a known software fault?

On the cloud portal maybe try restarting the inverter to clear any gremlins in the system. You should then be able to go into the app, click on the cog top right, then change solar to solar+grid and set your times. Save the changes and you should be doing what you want. If not, the give technical support a call and they can look at your system remotely.
