Solar and Battery Set Up

Does anyone have any recommendations for the best settinga for a solar and battery arrangement?

At the moment I am simply running in Dynamic mode, as previously using smart tariff and priorities the battery for peak hours usage led to discharge to grid frequently.

I am happy with the dynamic mode, but would like to automate an "Afternoon" charge period on top of overnight, if the battery isn't at 100% by 4pm. Currently I am doing this manually.

The only thing putting me off moving the system out of dynamic mode, is each time I have, my battery started emptying to grid overnight.

If you want to do anything complicated and don't want to do it manually, then you're probably best looking into automation e.g. Home Assistant - have a look at some of the other threads on that subject via the search.
