Inverter setting

Hi,

I've got a 3.5kW inverter but my setting only allow for 2.6kW to be converted.

Who do I contact to get this fixed, as I'm assuming that when an inverter is sold as 3.5 it'll be able to invert 3.5?

You’ve tagged the topic as AC coupled (aka AC3). If that is what you have bought, then it is 2.6kW max.

You have been miss-sold and need to take this up with whoever sold the system to you.

NB. If you bought a hybrid, with dc connections on it for a solar array, then that may have different limits depending on the generation number (gen1, gen2, etc) and the scenario (charging, discharging, etc). I think there’s another post somewhere that goes more into that detail.
