Weekly Report

The tariff section does not calculate the correct cost , i am on Octopus Agile with export being fixed rate, solar and battery and 30min readings.The calculation for grid use uses an average rate.
Both import and export rates are grossly wrong. The closest to being correct is the top left what it would have cost. The grid cost on the top right is over twice that.
The graphics and usage sections all tie up very nicely
I have also noticed when you use the giv app that todays consumption cost for example says 50p and the following day that date rate shoots upto £3
It would also be clearer if the time is clearly stated as summertime or GMT uk as the raw data seems to be GMT . It could that that causes the sudden jump in expected cost

You'll note that it says ESTIMATED COST on the app and portal?

The portal only samples data every 5 minutes so its never going to be accurate enough to determine 30 minute variable tariffs accurately. Average rate is about the best they can do.

The app is broken in terms of reporting historical 30 minute tariffs, it reports them in pounds rather than pence - ie if the tarrif between 00:00 and 00:30 today was 5.27p/kWh then it'll show that as £5.27/kWh tomorrow. It doesn't affect the calculation.

Don't hold your breath for anything like that being fixed.....
