ok so what i want is i think pretty simple , i have a 9.5 KV system with 1 battery and would like it to be set so i
charge the batter from Solar during the day and use the energy back into the house at night , i dont want to charge the battery from the grid (at all) only to export it back to the grid later.

What inverter do you have
What tariff are you on.
How many kWhr do you think you will use this time of year in 24hr
I doubt if you will have much solar left over to save this time of year.
You could go on Eco7 tariff . Get 7 hours of off-peak charge at night (timed charge)
Set inverter on Eco
Set inverter timed charge 00:30 - 07:30
This setup will minimise grid import and use solar as much as possible during the day and charge the battery with any spare - though in winter you may not get much spare.

today ive genrated 14 kWh
tariff is flexible octopus / outgoing is octopus 12M fixed
today consumption 10 kWh so far so far but battery charged at 100 %
its a give energy SA2248G556 inverter
as i say i dont see the point in charging the battery from the grid at 27 p a kWh only to send it back at 15 p a kWh
so trying to work a simple way or maybe it doesnt let you

To meet this requirement just enable ECO and ensure that Timed Charge, Timed Discharge and Time Export are disabled.
Do as bbttyy1 says and set to Eco.
See what you use overnight and you might find on Eco7 (15p) importing a 50% charge so you don't export is a good way to save a £1/day - or something like that

If you want to get clever, go the Home Assistant route.

A raspberry pi or similar becomes your server on your network so you dont have to worry about Octopus or GivEnergy server and/or the internet. It can monitor, control and pretty much do anything you want to a lot of stuff in your home.
With HA you can integrate solar predictions to only charge your battery just enough etc.
