As the solar output is starting to diminish, I've started charging my battery up some nights between 0500-0730. I've noticed that the nights I've set the battery to charge, that there's a brief power spike charging the battery at 0100 for a short period. It's not a great issue as it's within my Econ 7 hours, but just wondered if anyone else is experiencing this?

Yes I get a short spike some nights but at 00:00.

Do not know if your spike has improved, but I experienced several days of random spikes occurring frequently throughout the day.

The lower pic is normal.
Give energy, rather than offering any help quickly dismissed a heat pump, (I have gas heating), then told me it had to be an appliance in my house switching. (The 4 devices I have connected 24/7 draw between 40 and 110watts). I do have one new device of course, the Givenergy battery and inverter, and I find there have been a number of BMS problems with my installation, 5 in the last
week, and searching on internet find reports of numerous BMS faults that cause all sorts of problems - including load spikes.
Wonder if GE will ever admit a problem?
