Just wondering what range of grid voltages people are seeing throughout the day.
Yesterday was a pretty average day for me. A high of 240.9V in the middle of the day and a low of 232.2V around tea time. Is a spread of 8.7V typical? I live in the countryside (overhead three phase powerlines) and I would be interested to know if more densely populated areas see less variation in grid voltage.
I see 230 to 242 normally. Before I had batteries in full export it was as high as 252. I too am rural, small transformer for a farm and 3 properties

I had to contact Western Power a while back to complain aout grid voltages rising out of spec - I saw 256V regularly, and it made my string inverter cut out on over-voltage. To their credit, they did corect the situation - some HV trafo taps had to be adjusted.
As I understand it, the nominal is 230V, range -6+10%. Anywhere out of that and you can legimately complain to your DNO.
Mind you, being on the end of a long transmission line with a pole transformer could be difficult to adjust!
245 - 251 usual range for us.
Bit on the high side but they’ve just connected another 100 houses up to the same TX so holding off asking for a tap change just yet.
On the plus side I can track when WestBurton cloud factory is running from the voltage trends!
229 - 241 here
242 - 245 seems to be the usual range, with occasional peaks up to 249.
Nearly a year's worth of data (from my emonpi rather than inverter data, as it's not been in long):
240-250 here
Between 240v & 248v here today.
Seems quite a range for most.
Sorry, forgot to actually give our figures, which are 233 - 245 over the past month.
236 to 248v here - from an external meter that I log - unfortunately I have no access to data over a month old at the moment due to rebuilding my computer and not yet rebuilt the history back (I have several years stored)
