Successfully installed both of these via Portainer on the thin client HAss box - just had a look at the data that's getting shoved into the database through some dashboard views cobbled together yesterday. Looks like a great way to get persistent data from Home Assistant, and the ease with which data views can be created is fantastic.
Grafana is a bit of a port 3000 hog and wouldn't change this without editing grafana.ini after install GivTCP was already using 3000). Apart from this quirk, it's all good. Very easy to choose which sensor data is to be dumped into the database and the Grafana visualisations are very powerful.
