Display of power when charging

If you have your eV charger on a separate CU so that the house battery can’t see it, is the power that the charger is pulling shown in the app as an export?

I assume this is a 3rd-party evse, rather than the integrated GE one. Probably pedantry, but the word "pulling" here is a bit leading - if you've told the car to "actively" charge, then it will pull power from the grid, and the GE will not see the demand, and so will not export.

If the chargepoint is reacting to excess export (such as a Zappi in eco mode), then it's more grabbing the export, rather than pulling it. In this case, it's really the GE system that's pushing it out, and the charger is reacting to it. And yes, it will show up in GE logs as generic export - it doesn't know where it's going. You'd have to correlate the chargepoint logs with the GE logs to see that it was actually going into the car, rather than onto the grid.
