I have a Solic 200 incorporated into my PV/inverter/battery set up. Randomly, but typically late morning, the battery suddenly starts supplementing the generated feed despite no change in demand. The Solic doesn't indicate it to be working in boost mode nor is there any other demand being made at these times. However, the hot water cylinder does get hotter so I presume the power is sent to the immersion heater. I may be mistaken but it seems to coincide with periods of PV generation exceeding around 500 watts. Has anybody with a similar set up observed this behaviour?
