Is there a wait list for the givenergy EV charger? . I’m likely to get my first ev in the next couple of weeks and I’d prefer to stay in the same eco-system.
I’ve read about some WiFi drop out funnies on the posts and is there a way to avoid them (I’ve noted the disable 5G one)
Any other funnies?
I’ll ask GE too on delivery times, but I thought experience of the community is very valuable!

I installed the EVCharger a month ago and several times a day it comes up with an error message (26.Ground Leak). Having checked my electrics thoroughly I called Givenergy to find it is known fault and they are "working on it". That was three weeks ago, I called again today to get the same answer and was told they are getting 50-60 calls a day on the same issue. The error corrects itself after 15-20 minutes and I have been assured it will continue to charge your EV if it was doing so when the error occurred. I'm about to buy my first EV and will be very annoyed if my charging keeps getting interrupted by a known fault which they have no idea how long it will take to fix.
I’ve found the beta test page now and sadly the EV charger has a similar number of bugs as the battery management firmware! I hoped they just might have learned!
