Inverter has time setting that is one hour behind

I have tried resyncing in account settings, still an hour behind GMT. Messed up recent savings session, discharged an hour early. Help please!

Found time setting GMT-1. Doesn't the system cater automatically for BST / GMT?

It does but there have been occasions of the time set wrongly on initial setup. Its been covered previously on the forum the tip for how to set it correctly (sorry I can't remember, but search the forum)

Need to leave it in GMT all year round and GivEnergy will update it to BST automatically and back again.

Set the timezone via account settings if you've not already found that, then you can use the sync button.

I guess there's a chance the inverter was built during BST and installed during GMT maybe (just guessing) so if you can't get it to work properly, maybe GE will need to send some settings from their end as a one off.

I have just discovered that ours has been set at GMT-1 since it was installed in June, which means we've been importing at the standard rather than off-peak rate all winter. I only discovered when I kept pestering GE to try and find out why I couldn't seem to make it export when I wanted it to, and why the only thing that happened in the recent GivBack event was that the battery stopped supplying the house. It's now been re-synced by GE.
