EV Charger capping itself at 3.8KwH

Hi I have a GIVEV Charger and am using the Octopus Intelligent Go for EVs so have given Octopus control over when the car charges however this isn't going great. Octopus rarely pick up on the fact the car is plugged in so I run a schedule in the background on those days to make sure the car at least charges over night but when I do this the car only charges at 3.8KwH

Charger is A/B mode as this seemed to be the only way Octopus could connect

Max Charge Power is set to 32A in both main settings and schedule settings
DNO fuse size is set to 100A

There are no settings turned on in the car to cause this and on the rare occasion Octopus build a schedule in their app the car charges at 7.5KwH. It also charged 1 night at 7.5KwH after a DNO fuse reset so I wondered if there is a software issue around that but that hasn't worked the last few times

Sorry, can't really help - my IOG is through (zappi) chargepoint, rather than car. AFAIK the car has to tell octopus that it is plugged in. Octopus don't connect to the chargepoint.
And because the chargepoint has to be in dumb mode (so that it is always prepared to offer power when the car asks for it), plugging in might result in the car immediately starting to charge. When Octopus notice, they will stop the charge then build a schedule. (If it wasn't set up this way, the car wouldn't automatically start charging at a public AC chargepoint.)
I have read various complaints of Octopus being quite slow to notice that the car has started charging, but apparently using the car's API to stop this initial charge doesn't break octopus' detection that the car has plugged in.
