Is the Givenergy smart plug just a basic smart plug that connects to the portal to display energy usage data or does it use the data to help the system work more efficiently?!

its just a basic smart plug, only advantage of it is that it appears in the givenergy app alongside your inverter controls

also be aware that it is ONLY rated at 10A, so don’t use it for higher load devices like washing machine, tumble dryer, etc - see other post on this forum
