EV Plug & Go, Octopus Go with an Audi Q4

I've been able to get the EV charger to play nicely and not discharge my battery, and also charge as scheduled by Octopus Go.

If i turn plug and go off, which seems like the correct option for this scenario, the Audi reports a charging system fault, or says no mains voltage detected. I can still initiate a charge via GE, but i'm pretty sure Octopus Go can't tell the Audi to start in this situation.

Turning on touch and go, means i have to manually stop the charge. I was in the process of creating an HA automation to detect and stop this for me, but tonight i'm seeing that the charger just keeps re-starting the charge.

Anyone know what the correct intended functionality/configuration for an Audi on Octopus Go?

just sharing what I've found in case it's helpful for anyone else as after some testing and observation i think I've discovered the best way to get this to work.

When Octopus controls the car, a timed schedule appears in the Audi MMI, usually has a "ready by" day several days in the future.

If I come home and enable that timer again manually, then plug into my charger, which has plug and go enabled, the car briefly starts to charge, then stops saying "awaiting timer"

then a short period after, Octopus notifies the schedule it's created, and the car seem to start/stop charger as per that schedule.
