Hi Everyone,
The home function will not work on my wife’s iPad mini 6 using the app. It used to, but stopped working a couple of weeks ago after being ok for 6 months or so. I reinstalled the app and restarted the iPad, but no luck. I have an iPad Air, with the same app and settings and it works perfectly.
Any suggestions?

It could be that your inverter has changed IP address and the app is stuck with the old IP address.
When you reinstalled the app, did you delete it off the ipad mini and install it from scratch?
To change the IP address, in the app, press the 3 horizontal bars, Settings, Local Monitoring
Then you can scan for inverters and save them or delete existing inverter IP addresses
Would have thought the mini 6 be running similar IOS as your ipad Air
One other idea, in iOS Settings on the mini, find the GivEnergy app settings and check thgat Local Network is turned on

Yes, when I reinstalled the app it was completely deleted. Both iPads have the latest iOS version.
I checked out the iPad addresses, both iPads looked the same, and a search on the mini found 2 possible ip addresses,
I chose the first one, no change, tried both at the same time, nothing. Deleted the second address from the list of ip addresses in case of confusion - nothing. Then I switched on ‘search for inverters manually’ and now it works!
Not sure why - but thanks for the steer…
