This is the 1st time I've seen a firmware update since my system was commissioned in late Feb.
Everything is working perfectly, do I run the risk of breaking something by applying this update? Has anyone else upgraded their system?
My Gen 3 was also commissioned late Feb and like you have just had the first Firmware update prompt. I ran it but it seems it's just a dongle update, mine went from version 203 to 205 and took no more than 5 mins. My inverter is LAN cabled so no difference observed.
My inverter firmware was not updated, still D0.307-A0.307 - same as at commissioning despite "A308-D308" showing as the latest from 09 Feb 2024 though it doesn't have the note added '(coming soon on portal)' whatever that actually means in practice.
Anyone out there given the option to update to A308-D308?
Went ahead anyway, just seems to be a dongle firmware update
