I have following 8kw System:
GIV-HY5.0 with 6kw solars + 160 Ah | 8.19 kWh battery
2kw Growatt with remaining panels
About the week ago I got my EV car delivered and started to use EV Givenergy charger that was installed much earlier.
EV Charger seems to be set on configuration C
The behavior is very strange and st all like expected.
When I set it on solar I just get red message at the bottom saying rejected.
When I set it on hybrid it starts charging home battery first (OK, up to 2,5kw) than car (up to only 1.32kw) and export excess. If home battery is full it keeps charging the car up to 1.32 only everything else goes to grid, even if excess above 5kw was generated it still only send 1.32 to the car. If solar generation is less than 1,32 it will drain battery first than take from grid
When I set it on grid, it will charge the car at 7.2kw using whatever is available up to max from solar generation, I have seen 6kw from solar going in to the car, it does not drain battery at all in this mode it would take from grid after solar.
Is this a problem with installation? How to make solar to work at all or hybrid to take from solar more than 1.32 and not to send to grid the excess
