So, the price of electricity today Is going to be negative later today. I therefore plan to stop my battery from charging my solar (exporting any excess) until then. I don’t want to import, and I would like my house to use what power is left in the battery.

I figured the best way to do this is to set the battery charge limit to 0w until this afternoon, but the battery (20% SOC) is still being charged by my solar at 170w πŸ‘Ž, whilst the rest is exported. πŸ‘

I’d just love it if a GE setting did what it said!!! πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

If your firmware supports it, you can achieve a lower power level using the timed-pause feature. On the remote-control, set pause-start time to now, end-time to be when the price goes negative, and pause-mode to be pause-charge. For me, that gets reported power down to 28W.
