I have PV panels an 5Kw inverter and two 5.2Kw batteries. Just about to get a power cut. It is not set up to provide power in the event of an outage. What is the procedure? Do I have to disconnect the PV panels, or can I just leave it and the inverter will handle it automatically?
I have had a couple of outages, the system managed itself.
Edit : Gen 1 inverter otherwise same as you.
I'm presuming it's a hybrid inverter, in which case if there's room in the battery, solar generation will continue to top up the battery.
