I have a GE car charger, battery ,inverter and solar. All less than 6m old. 3 days ago...before worldwide IT issues my EV charger has gone offline. Yesterday I thought I solved it...switched everything off and on. Could only get to charge at 1.3kw. Then has gone offline again. I don't know what to do. I am not techy at all so please answer in "basic" language. Many thanks
Offline
Ps the system is wired to my house
It is hard to know what to say what has happened but if it happened to me as you describe I would look at what has changed just before the system went offline.
Is the system as far as you can tell working normally otherwise?
Is the router otherwise OK and the ID and password unchanged?
What do the lights on the Inverter and batteries look like?
Is there an error code from the EV charger?
Then I would look at the dashboard and investigate the system settings to see if they have changed.
Resetting the wifi may be a starting point.
Oh, I see the issue may only be with the Charger. In that case, is the charger in direct sunlight and has an upper-temperature limit. I know on my Zappi if it is not shaded the temp can go too high and it starts to limit charging.
Try reconnecting the charger to your wifi using your routers SSID and Password. I am sorry I cannot describe how to do that on your charger as I do not have a Givenergy unit myself.
