Does anyone know how much energy a 5kw inverter should use when discharging to the grid, we have a 5kw inverter and two 8.4 khw batteries, when discharging the house consumption go’s up by around 500w, just wondering if this is the norm.
Not heard of that issue before. It should not be consuming 500w to empty to the grid.
You measuring the consumption by the app in local (10 seconds) or the portal (5 mins)?
Does the portal one match what your expecting by any chance?
using the phone app so every 10 seconds, not checked the portal yet but will do this evening
Looks like it's the app reporting incorrectly, just started a discharge and the phone app says the house is using 695w, the portal says 118w, so i guess ill just ignore the phone app going forward (or at least until an update to the app is released).
