In Home Assistant there is a "Control" setting called "Active Power Rate". What is it for and what does it do please?

In the GivEnergy Web interface on the remote-control page there is s setting under 'Inverter' and 'Control' called "Inverter Max Output Active Power Percent". This looks like the same setting. Is it?
