BMS Communication Fail

today i have bms coms fail
tried resets
turned battery on 3 battery lights come on
then the status light comes on
then they all go out
am i missing something

When the battery lights are on, do you hear a clicking noise inside the inverter, and then the lights go out?

If so this highly likely to be the BMS motherboard in the inverter that's failed. I had it happen to me and the inverter had to be replaced under warranty,
