I haven't updated the GE app since March 2nd or the inverter firmware because I don't want anything to change but something seems to have changed anyway. I presume it is the web portal.
I have an overnight charge between 2 and 5AM configured in the app at a reduced charge rate to be kind to the battery. This seemed to be separate from the charge rate when I do a manual force charge or when it charges from the sun but suddenly they seem to be the same. If I set the app it changes the current solar charge rate and if I corrected that on the web portal it changes the app setting.
Previously it seemed to restore the portal rate after the overnight charge and it seemed to go wrong at 2:20 this morning when we were asleep.
For some reason it changed the charge rate from 1800W to 2600W partway through the overnight charge. Do GE roll out web portal changes at that time?
