My battery suddenly lost almost all of it's power today. Does anyone have any clue please? I only have the battery for about 1 year and 2 months
Ps. No scheduled export. No one was home at that time. You can see no the output didn't change during the drop at about 12 pm😢
It is quite possible that if you have kept the battery full / fairly full for an extended period of time then the inverter has lost track of what the actual state of charge is and what you have seen is the inverter realising its mistake.
Unfortunately this does happen. The best way to avoid it is to try to fully discharge and recharge your battery ever now and again.
If it keeps happening then then it may be a symptom of a hardware failure, but if it’s a one-off then it’s likely to be a SoC reset. Plenty of other examples of this on the forum
