We have AIO with gateway, and GE EV Charger set to inverter control/cloud sync mode, so it diverts solar to the EV when excess is available.
It seems that the switch to stop the AIO dumping to the EV when it's diverting solar, means the inverter sets the "Battery charge power " and "Battery Discharge Power" to 0kW when it's charging the EV.
Fine, I can understand that.
But, when it senses there isn't enough excess solar to charge the car it sets the AIO charge/discharge rates to 6kW, ignoring whatever may have previously been set by me.
i.e. If I set the AIO to say 3kW charge power for an overnight AC charge, "EV Charger Inverter Control" will override that to 6kW the next time the inverter checks for excess solar and finds none, which is every minute, including in the middle of the night.
