EM115 AC side wiring

I have a 1st Generation Hybrid Inverter installation with an 8.2kWHr battery and a manual change over EPS setup. Please can anyone tell me the where the AC supply to the EM115 should be connected?
At present the AC supply to the EM115 is connected by the installer to the main consumer unit RCD output supplying one of the lighting circuits, The problem with this is I had to change a light fitting on that circuit today and of course the inverter lost data when I isolated the particular RCD and this appeared to cause the inverter to discharge the battery at full power. Most of this power can only have been exported to the grid. Not ideal!

The EM115 should be connected to a 6A MCB in your solar consumer unit. If it shares a main switch with the non essential load, then in my opinion it is dangerous.
