Has anybody had to re load their wifi on the system following provider change

Common wisdom is to change the new router SSID and password to that of the old one. That way all your previous devices and connections will not need to be modified.
You do not say what your new router/provider is. There have been posts about new security protocols not being compatible with GivEnergy equipment

Agree with Steve. Another way is to have a stand alone network using something like a Google Nest router to create your own stand alone Wifi network which all your devices attach to. Then just LAN wire your router to your ISP modem (turn its Wifi off). Then switching out when you change ISP is as simple as swapping the modem.
