Dongle flashes, but my devices are not finding it's local Wi-Fi

This type of thing is very irritating - I can see the dongle flashing, but the laptop, phone and iPad all steadfastly refuse to find the Wi-Fi it's supposed to be pushing out with the SSID of its serial number.

Is there a way of setting the dongle up by connecting it straight to a laptop? This would be much quicker I think. I'm not an installer btw, just a confused customer!

It’s possible your installer changed the SSID to something else?

There’s a reset button on the back of the dongle you can reset it to factory defaults and start the setup again. Follow the GivEnergy Wifi Video on YouTube
