Smart tariff (beta)

I’ve had the GE battery a few weeks now (octopus Agile) and have been trying various options.
I had thought the ‘Battery & Solar’ automation would have been good, but I didn’t want the peak-rate export since I don’t have an Octopus export-rate (no way to disable the export).
Am now trying the ‘beta’ automation, but can’t find a way to visualise the effects of the settings! I expected my revisions to be reflected against the current day’s tariff, but I have to wait till the next day to see whether my new settings are better or not.
Is there any way to immediately see the likely effects of changes?

I did try the Smart Tariff (beta and normal) but I too found that it gets its data from Octopus and doesn't include any current local data so forecasting was not possible (or even getting today's actuals). I gave up with the beta due to lack of info but still have the normal smart tariff panel so I can can see current agile rates and historical usage.
