I have an AIO and it's on octopus I Go
I set it to charge 11.30 pm To 5.30 am it starts charging to full and does what you expect, then house runs off grid power until 5.30 am but at 5am every day the supposed full battery starts charging again at about 1kw for about 20 mins. Is this a new bit of software to top it up before cheap rate ends or something wrong?
It's the same every day, anyone else see this on theirs?

Can't say I see anything similar to this. I have an AIO 13.5 and gateway.
I am on similar octopus go and charge in cheap rate but 0 from grid throughout the day.
Do you see it pulling from grid in the day in the app or portal?

The blips on mine is the fridge kicking in But it coincides with the peaks in demand so very odd.

The only other thing I can think of is to check what state of charge your battery gets too. You can do this in the battery tab and scrolling through the graph.
Does it get to like 80% and then do the last 20%.
If you look at the logs in your web portal for your battery in inverters does it show state of charge drops. Then battery kicks in to finish the charge?

On your AIO is their anything shown in the logs around that time.
You can check this by going to your inverters in the web portal, not the app and selecting the little cog icon for the aio. If you scroll to the very bottom theirs a list of logs and commands and what issued them.
Might help narrow down what's issuing a charge command.

So the system was commissioned in the 27th March and no logs after the 28th March in the cloud portal, is that normal?
If you have made changes to he system like setting charging timers etc I would expect something to show in your inverter logs. In your web portal it might be worth changing your charge slot bit say an hour and then changing it back and make sure you can see the changes being made in the logs.
Also web version on a pc browser is much clearer to see the list you have enabled. If you only charge like me overnight you should only have one timer and the rest 00.00 to 00.00.

I tested it. Sorry I only had my phone to hand but when I changed my time slot window ( had to turn it landscape to see all the details) but it does show in the logs.
So double check your charge slot/slots. Make a change even by a minute and then double check the logs. It should show.

As a side note. Not sure what system you had installed but if you have a gateway. I don't have many logs in that "inverter" ( as it's listed as one in the web portal). Just all my customisations in my AIO/battery.

Thanks Bob it is recording logs as I changed it as you suggested, but still doing it, i've put in a support ticket with Givenergy so will see what they say
